CNA/Direct Care Worker

Position Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical personal care and assistance.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Remind clients to take medications (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors.

• Some consumers may only need companionship; no toileting or bathing assistance

• Some consumers may only need help getting to and from medical appointments or running errands.  
• The rate of pay depends on the consumer's needs.  
• Raise in pay after the first 90 days with a uniform allowance.
