Gas Foreman - Natural Gas Utility Contruction

Job description:
Looking for an opportunity where success comes naturally? Then you may have found your crew. We’re looking for a Gas Utility Service Foreman to join our team.

You would be responsible for:

• Supervisor small to large construction projects start to finish
• Manage resources in a safe manner in compliance with industry standards
• Installation of HDPE or steel lines for natural gas
• Fabrication, installation, threading, fusion, maintenance, and repair of all types of pipes and related materials
• Air testing, nitrogen testing and final tie ins to existing systems and/or energizing of new lines.
• Remove, repair, replace, and install various sizes and types of piping and gas meters
• Reading blueprints and layouts
• Ability to complete as builds

Have good mechanical knowledge
Following all Company policies and procedures

• A firm working knowledge of all safety regulations and OQ tasks.

• Construction experience 3 year Min
• Pipe handling / fitting experience required
• Experience with electro and butt fusion equipment

Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass pre-employment/random drug testing
Follow all Company policies and procedures

• Equipment operation experience
• Gas OQ's
• CDL class A or B is a plus but not required.

Physical demands:
Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (Overtime/weekend work will be required)
Ability to work in extreme conditions – Temps below freezing and above 100 Degrees F
Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
